Help your child reach their potential

We believe that every child should be able to reach their full potential, This is especially important in the core subjects of English and maths. We also want them to do their best in key tests such as the Kent Test and SATs. We do this by providing English and maths tuition in addition to tutor support for the Kent Test, in Faversham and Whitstable. 

We also offer Kent Test mock exams in July and August. 

Every child is an individual on their own learning journey. That journey is supported by the tutor and parent. Before your child starts with Prize Tuition, the three of us will meet to discuss your child's learning experience, aspirations and any concerns they or you may have. We will also do a short assessment to check any gaps to be addressed.  After the assessment we will create a bespoke programme for your child and they can start to attend the small group classes we hold.

Small group sessions

We offer a bespoke service of tuition in small groups for test preparation and/or  core subjects. 

The atmosphere is calm and studious. Children will do some tasks in conjunction with other students and other parts of the lesson will be an individual focus.

Children enjoy working in small groups where the emphasis is is on building a supportive (not competitive) relationship with other students.  The ratio of staff to students is high so each student has the individual attention they need.

Students attend classes and will be set tasks to do at home where they need extra practice.

Making progress

Parents and children are given regular feedback on their achievements and progress.  

We are always pleased to hear from parents and children about their learning journey. We encourage students to discuss their learning and progress as a natural part of learning.
